OCDE Training Opportunities

Once you make a purchase through the OCDE Technology Purchase Program, sign up for classes to learn how to make the most of your new equipment or software!

Daytime, evening, and weekend classes are offered in the OCDE Mac and PC labs for your convenience.

The schedule is organized and promoted on an ongoing basis, making this cost effective program an opportunity for any educator in Orange County to receive world class professional development in the use of educational technology.

The entire curriculum is focused on integrating technologies into standards-based instruction, with a particular focus on enhancing student achievement through context-embedded, inquiry-driven, and socially negotiated learning. Particular sessions are focused on individual applications, equipment, or academic content areas. Professional developers are either members of the OCDE Educational Technology Department, or other local specialists.
