OCDE Technology Purchase Program 2009
From November 1 until November 30, 2009, the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) and the Schools First Federal Credit Union (SchoolsFirst FCU) will once again partner to bring computers and other equipment closer to you through a special computer purchasing and loan program. Members of SchoolsFirst FCU can finance up to $2,500*** with the credit union. This loan can be used to purchase new software, hardware, digital cameras, projectors, printers, and peripherals such as iPods and flash drives. The following offer is available for purchases financed through SchoolsFirst FCU:
- Credit qualifying for school and OCDE employees
- 100% financing, up to $2500 0% APR interest for up to 12 month financing or
- 3.90% APR for up to 24 month financing* available to employees of eligible schools who have NetPay (or direct deposit)
*With automatic payment transfer from an SchoolsFirst FCU share account; coupon payment is available at an interest rate of 4.65% APR.
The Technology Purchase Program is traditionally designed for Orange County public, private, and higher education school-teachers and employees. Once again, we are extending our invitation to family members and friends of educators as part of the special Tenth Annual program celebration. The discounted products will be available to all participants. However, only school and OCDE employees will be eligible for the zero percent loan.
